Buddy Visit

We invited our buddies to hear all about our book study work. Using the books to help, we retold the story of 'What the Ladybird Heard'. We showed them the masks we had made, and talked to them about the writing we had been doing.
We loved having our buddies come to visit!

What the Ladybird Heard

Primary 1a are busy working on a Literacy Topic based around our BookBug gift 'What the Ladybird Heard'. It is a fantastic book!

We have been using the book in class and at home. With our friends in rooms 2 and 3, we have made animal masks and maps. At writing time we have been learning about alliteration! Room 1 has used the words from the book to do lots of writing as well!

Next week, our primary 7 buddies are coming to visit to see all our hard work. Look at the lovely invites we have made!

Our First Golden Time!

After a relaxing Christmas break; room 1 has started term 3 in our new building with enthusiasm! We absolutely love our new school! It is exciting using all the new learning spaces and resources.

Our new classroom is just lovely - it is very big and bright! We also have a fantastic breakout space outside our class that we share with rooms 2, 3 and 4. It is great!!

Look at the pictures below of our first golden-time in our new school - we had lots of fun! We can now share golden-time with our friends in the other classes! The breakout space means that Miss McCabe, Mrs Ayres and Miss Williams can put out even more activities for us to choose from!
