Special Topic Picture Clues!

Our class thought we would add some pictures to the blog to help our friends and families work out what is happening in room 1! We wonder if anyone knows what the castle shaped cards might be??!!!

What is going on in room 1???

Our class is working hard on the special mission to help all those who live in Fairyland! Miss McCabe has helped us with lots of different activities and the Friendly Dragon says we are doing well.
The Dragon sent a messenger from Fairyland to meet us. Cosmo is now our class dragon, and he is going home with one of us each day. He will eventually take his diary back to Fairyland for all the characters to read!

Surprise Topic!

This term primary 1a and primary 1b are involved in a very special topic. We have been asked to help a friendly dragon save his friends in Fairyland! We don't want to say too much at the moment about our important job, but we are really enjoying the activities and tasks we have to do!
This week, Miss McCabe changed our 'home teams'. Our class now has brand new groups, which is great because we get the chance to work with some more of our friends. In the photographs you can see us working hard together to decide on a group name, design a poster and a desk label. Each child had a role - leader, timekeeper, materials manager and facilitator. We all tried our best to cooperate and encourage! Miss McCabe says our posters look fantastic!
