Christmas Activities!!!

Primary 1a have worked very hard on their annual Nativity performance. Miss Craig and Mrs Wallace have helped us to learn all about the Christmas story. All the boys and girls in room 1 had to learn songs and actions. Some of us even had lines to say and dances to do! Mrs Wallace is very proud of us! It was tricky at first to remember where to go on the stage and to work with so many other children, but Mrs Wallace says we have been superstars! Look at us in our costumes - don't we look fantastic?!! We think our families and friends really enjoyed our performances! On the last day of term, we saw Santa again! We got to talk to him and ask questions when we took part in a 'Glow Meet' - a video conference with other schools. We watched on the computer as he told us how busy his helpers were. Mrs Wallace showed us some of the toys the elves make quickly. We designed some templates on the computer, then worked in our cooperative home teams to create moveable toys to take home! We had to colour, cut, stick and attach the joints using fasteners. Look at our fantastic snowmen!!

Christmas Awards and Christmas Party!!!

What a fantastic week we had in Room 1 just before our Christmas break! Mrs Wieland visited our class to issue 'Excellent Behaviour' certificates to all the boys and girls who had no red traffic lights and less than 5 traffic light entries this term. Mrs Wallace was delighted to see so many certificates being presented! Primary 1a also had lots of fun at their Christmas party. We played party games, sang songs and did some disco dancing! We were especially excited to meet a special visitor who arrived as were finishing our snack! Santa must know how hard we have been working, and how super our behaviour is, because he had a present for each one of us!!
