Outdoor Learning

As part of our learning in Science, we went outside recently to check for signs of seasonal change. We recorded what we saw, and classified our observations into 'living' and 'non living' lists.

Easter Bonnet Parade and Egg Race

Primary 1a took part in our school's annual Easter celebrations by performing at the Easter Bonnet Parade. We sang songs, recited a poem and designed super fancy bonnets to wear! We looked fantastic! We went on a mini parade through the school to show off our hats - we especially loved visiting our P7 buddies! Mrs Wallace set us a homework task of creating a design for a boiled egg. On the last day of term, we had a race event with rooms 2 and 3. We had so much fun racing and rolling our eggs!!

Class Trip

Primary 1 visited the Tall Ship and Transport Museum - we were able to see all the vehicles Doctor What had been telling us about. We had a brilliant time! Many thanks to the parent helpers who came along on the day.

Spring Disco!

Primary 1a had a fabulous time recently partying at the Spring disco!! We had time in between the dances and games to have a snack with our friends in the dinner hall - we needed a wee rest!!
