Outdoor Learning - maths

We took our learning outdoors recently. Our class ventured out into the playground with room 2 at maths time. We played lots of games to help our counting, and we even took part in a problem solving challenge. Before we came back in, we practised our addition sums with a learning partner - by writing them on the playground! Primary 1 had lots of fun!

Active Month

February is Active Month on our school's health calendar. In addition to gymnastics at our normal P.E. times, Primary 1a have had the opportunity to take part in Tai Kwon Do, table tennis, curling and aerobics. Mrs Gray organised 2 'wake up' with exercise mornings. We all took part in an aerobics session before we even came in to school! Look at the photos - our class had lots of fun!
