A fun week

Last week we had a visit from the Hopscotch Theatre company, who put on a performance about Children's Rights.  We learned the chorus of the 2 songs and enjoyed singing them with our buddies.  We learned so much and Miss Breslin was very impressed when we linked it to our Rights and Actions Tree in the classroom.

We used our learning about Elmer, along with our Elmer masks to think about Elmer felt in the story.  We had to mime using our faces how Elmer felt.  At first we found it tricky not to speak, but soon we were performing fabulous feelings mimes!  We had to mime Elmer happy, angry, sad and disappointed.
